American Nile Rodgers (b. 1952) is a Grammy-winning guitarist, songwriter, and producer with whom everyone would like to collaborate. He has the golden touch of Midas, producing some of the most iconic songs of the last 40 years for artists like Diana Ross, Duran Duran, Sister Sledge, Madonna, David Bowie, Daft Punk and Avicii. In 1976, Rodgers formed Chic with Bernard Edwards, whose disco song Le Freak was a giant hit. Chic still works under Rodgers and also releases new music.

Terra Nova is a Dutch band that released their debut album Living It Up in 1996; the music on the album was a perfect mix of 80’s melodic hard rock and melodic rock. The album did well in both Europe and Japan but the follow up album in 1997 did even better and got even better reviews. Terra Nova gained great success with both album which gave them the chance of to tour through Japan the following year. The band’s third album, Make My Day, came in 1999. The sound is pleasantly upbeat, fresh and a nice balance between hard rock, pomp and AOR.
