Betty’s 1974 album "Danger High Voltage" is considered to be amongst her best. It contains her two UK Top 30 chart hits the Grammy winning Disco hit "Where Is The Love" and "Shoorah! Shoorah!" which featured in the film "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". It also includes the original version of the often sampled "Tonight's The Night" one of her best known tracks, a mid tempo Rare Groove classic, which was apparently inspired by her first sexual experiences. She would re-record the track on the "Betty Wright Live" album, which featured her now famous "Rap". Betty’s diverse range of material is illustrated by the great beat ballad "That's When I’ll Stop Loving You" and the more typically Brassy TK "Don't Thank Me Baby, Thank Yourself". This CD version of the album is enhanced by the inclusion of five non album 45 sides.
