2009 two CD collection of Disney classics penned by brothers Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman The Sherman brothers were hired by Walt Disney himself as his first and only staff songwriters. Their music has been an important part of motion pictures, theme park attractions, television productions, vinyl records, CDs, and Broadway shows, entertaining millions of people all over the world. Presented here are 59 songs highlighting the Sherman brothers' incredibly prolific Disney years from Annette's 1959 hit 'Tall Paul' to their work from The Tigger Movie in 2000. Newly restored with the latest digital technology, this collection features not only their landmark hits from Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, The Jungle Book and 'It's A Small World,' but a number of their other classics, many available for the first time on CD.

And our latest adventures in U.K. Club Land where we continue our exploration of the 'Club Beat' - the roots of Mod, R&B and Soul - that coalesced in the bohemian melting pot of Soho, London, post WW2. In this chapter we explore the roots of the 'Mod' generation that was born in and around Soho at the turn of the Sixties.

With Acrobat’s catalogue having grown substantially, and its product strategy evolved significantly over the years, we are occasionally looking to repurpose some of our early albums in the context of the product formats that are now more widely used in our releases. This 70-track 3-CD set comprises the complete contents, plus some added titles, of three products released in our ACRCD range more than fifteen years ago, and which offered the opportunity to assemble a nicely coherent, substantial and enhanced single product at a lower price than the three single CDs combined. Those CDs were ACRCD 117, 118 & 119 “Bebop Vols. 1, 2 & 3”. The titles on those three CDs have now been re-compiled in chronological order, with duplicated titles removed and twelve new titles added, along with a substantial booklet. The collection comprises recordings which are seen as significant performances in the genesis and development of bebop as a genre, or regarded as important or notable examples of bebop. The tracks have also been selected so that a significant proportion of the artists regarded as pioneers, innovators or noted exponents of bebop are represented in the collection. On that basis, it features a host of great names not only in bebop but in the wider world of jazz, and the collection offers a highly entertaining an insightful trawl across a dynamic jazz decade.
