Memento Mori Depeche

Memento Mori (stylized as "Memento | Mori" on the album cover) is the upcoming fifteenth studio album by Depeche Mode (stylized as "Depeche|MODE" on the album cover), set to be released on 24 March 2023, through Columbia and Mute. The album was produced by James Ford and Marta Salogni. It was preceded by the single "Ghosts Again" and the track "My Cosmos Is Mine" (released on streaming platforms), and will be the first Depeche Mode studio album to be released after the death of co-founder and keyboardist Andy Fletcher on 26 May 2022. The album will be promoted by the Memento Mori World Tour.

2023 release. Memento Mori is Depeche Mode's 15th studio album and it's first as a two-piece lineup of Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, following co-founder Andrew "Fletch" Fletcher's tragic passing in 2022.

Wet Leg Remix Depeche Mode’s “Wagging Tongue”
Wet Leg have remixed Depeche Mode’s recent single “Wagging Tongue,” adding vocals and new instrumentation. It features on a set of spins on the track by artists including Daniel Avery and Henning Baer, out now. Listen to the Wet leg version below. Depeche Mode released a “Wagging Tongue” video in May, directed by the Sacred Egg with creative direction from Anton Corbijn. It appears on their album Memento Mori, which came out in March. Wet Leg, who are still playing shows behind their hit debut LP, have covered Steve Lacy and Ashnikko since its release.

Depeche Mode have tapped a series of artists to remix their recent song “Wagging Tongue,” including British group Wet Leg. On the remix, the Isle of Wight duo, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, create a swirling atmosphere and lend their vocals to the track, which originally appeared on the band’s 15th full-length LP, Memento Mori. Other artists who have remixed “Wagging Tongue” include Daniel Avery, Kid Moxie, Hawtin Gieser, and Gabe Gurnsey. The band has dubbed the release of the new songs the Wagging Tongue Remixes.

‘Ghosts Again (Remixes)’ is a Martin Gore and Dave Gahan-approved collection of reinterpretations of the single from the bands 15th studio album.
