Men I Trust announces a new album, Equus Asinus, dropping on March 19th. Early in the writing and recording process, we realized we had a collection of songs with distinct energies yet equally meaningful to us. It became clear that we wanted to release them as two separate entities both from the same genus: Equus Asinus and Equus Caballus. Both album covers are pictures taken by Donna Ferrato, an exceptional photographer we feel lucky and honoured to collaborate with. This will be the first of two EQUUS albums to be released this spring, before we start our N. America and Europe tours.

Unencumbered by considerations of live performance, Untourable Album’s title reveals the intent behind its inception. Composed and recorded during a global lull in touring, accompanying videos for the songs 'Tree Amongst Shrubs', 'Serenade of Water', and 'Sugar' compile footage from the aptly-titled Untourable Tour as the album ended up being tourable after all. The album cover features a photograph by celebrated American photographer Lynn Goldsmith, showcased originally in a 1984 collection titled A Day in the Life of Canada.

T.I.M.E. (1968). Debut album of this underrated US psychedelic band (which evolved out of very fine, garage-pop-psych band Hardtimes) was released in 1968 by Liberty Records in attractive die-cut, gatefold cover. It contained great mixture of very catchy and memorable songs based on rich vocal harmonies and strong guitar-organ interplay and being somewhere between garage rock and pop-psych. The music itself was very diverse, ranged from dark, atmospheric heavier tracks to much lighter sounds. lt’s worth noting that the main influences to the band were The Beatles, The Byrds, The Hollies and Buffalo Springfield…
