Psychotic Supper is the third studio album from the American rock band Tesla, released in 1991. The album was certified platinum by RIAA on November 5th, 1993. In 2005, Psychotic Supper was ranked number 475 in Rock Hard magazine's book of The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time. Psychotic Supper benefits from a more stripped-down production than The Great Radio Controversy, using fewer overdubs and thereby enhancing Tesla's bluesy, acoustic-tinged rock & roll. Going over the top was never what Tesla did best, and Psychotic Supper shows enough variation and occasional understatement to retain the listener's interest.

In the year 1977 Armin Sabol founded the Nand SHIVA together with bandmate Mat Sinner. The youngster’s heavy rock trio toured southern Germany with different drummers. Gigs opening for Whitesnake, Colosseum II (featuring Jon Hiseman, Gary Moore Don Airey) and Nina Hagen quickly helped the band build a strong fan base. SHIVA split up in 1981 without having released an album. Still, after a temporary reunion on behalf of a charity event in 2007, the album Goddess SHIVA was released the same year.

Fusing late 60s and early 70s English folk/psych with Finnish nature mysticism, they play a witches brew of heavy, tripped-out atmospherics and hypnotic paeans. Their debut album Dawnbearer, which is now considered an occult folk classic, garnered rave reviews from the media and fans alike, making it to the top of many people’s Best of 2011 lists.

A Beautiful Lie is the second album by American alternative rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars. It was released on August 30, 2005 through Virgin Records and was produced by Josh Abraham. The album produced four singles, "Attack", "The Kill", "From Yesterday", and "A Beautiful Lie"; of which three of those four singles managed to chart within the top 30 on the US Modern Rock chart, with "The Kill" and "From Yesterday" entering the top three. A Beautiful Lie received positive reviews from music critics, many praising the album for the band's new sound from their debut album.
