Originally released in early 1963, Monk's Dream was the first Thelonious Monk album for Columbia. At the time this was recorded, he had become one of the preeminent figures in contemporary jazz. His move to Columbia put him in the company of a couple of the era's other major talents and commercial successes, Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck, and his quartet was stabilized for a couple years with tenor saxophonist Charlie Rouse (with him since 1958), bassist John Ore, and drummer Frankie Dunlop.r-celebrated in its day, Monk's Dream is rich with the confidence of a band at its peak.

Baby I'm-a Want You is the fourth album by Bread, released in 1972. Its singles included the title cut (which reached #3 on the Billboard Top 100), "Everything I Own" (#5), "Mother Freedom" (#37), and "Diary" (#15). This was the first Bread album to feature keyboards player Larry Knechtel.

Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid is the 12th studio album and first soundtrack album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on July 13, 1973 by Columbia Records for the Sam Peckinpah film, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Dylan himself appeared in the film as the character "Alias". The soundtrack consists primarily of instrumental music and was inspired by the movie itself, and included "Knockin' on Heaven's Door", which became a trans-Atlantic Top 20 hit.
