In relation to the Fest, Schenker has renewed its line up by inviting Ronnie Romero, Joe Lynn Turner, Ralf Scheepers and Michael Voss to sing. For the music he invited Simon Philipps and Brian Tichy on drums, Barry Sparks on bass and Steve Mann and Derek Sherinian on keyboards…

Label description: MSG is a legendary name. After two phenomenal records under the guise of Michael Schenker Fest, a true guitar hero is returning to his roots. By forming Michael Schenker Group (MSG) back in 1979, Michael Schenker laid the foundations for one of hard rock's most glorious solo careers of all times. And while nobody expected anything less from a former guitarist for Scorpions and UFO, it's close to impossible mentioning everything Michael has built over the past 50 years, or the countless people he influenced or played with. This, truly, is the stuff that hard rocking myths are made of.
For the first time ever, Michael Schenker returns to his classic years with UFO, revisiting the era that catapulted both him and the British hard rock band to international stardom.
The Michael Schenker Group - Hard rock band based in Germany. Existed from 1979 until 1985, revived 1996. The only consistent member is Michael Schenker and the band could also be seen as his solo project.
Do not confuse with McAuley Schenker Group. Both bands use the abbreviation MSG, but are considered different bands.
