Dynamic releases the Donizetti Opera’s production of “Lucrezia Borgia.” The acclaimed production from the 2019 festival features Carmela Remigio in the title role, Xabier Anduaga as Gennaro, Varduhi Abrahamyan as Orsini and Marko Mimica as Alfonso. Riccardo Frizza conducts the production which OperaWire said, “among the best all year.”

Set in 16th-century India, 'Il Paria' is a powerful and moving story of impossible love, social barriers and religious intolerance. Donizetti was particularly proud of his work, reusing many of its melodies in future compositions. Albina Shagimuratova leads a stellar cast including René Barbera, singing one of the most demanding roles ever written for tenor, and the talented Georgian baritone Misha Kiria in the title character.

The Sicilian was just thirty years old and at the absolute pinnacle of his musical life, commanding huge fees and producing operas at a rate of knots.

Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucrezia Borgia is a dark and scandalous tale of murder and excess. Initially criticised for its audacious nature, the opera has since become appreciated as one of the great masterpieces of Italian bel canto repertoire with glorious arias and stirring choruses.

Ivan Repušic made his debut as Chief Conductor of the Münchner Rundfunkorchester on September 24, 2017 at the city’s Prinzregententheater with a concert performance of Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Luisa Miller". The Latvian soprano Marina Rebeka – the orchestra’s Artist in Residence during the 2017/18 season – was successfully engaged for the title role of the tragic opera, based on Friedrich Schiller's "Kabale und Liebe".

Kalamos Quintet is the first, and the only reed quintet in the wider region. It was founded in Zagreb in 2013. The quintet debuted with performances at the Small Hall of Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall and in the Foyer of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, with a great response from the audience on both occasions. Following the debut, they performed at summer events and festivals in Omiš, Solin, and Rovinj, and gave a recital at the International Chamber Music Festival – MAGfestival in Split. Another very successful recital was the one at the 35th Evenings on Grič, an event organized by Zagreb Concert Management. Their performances received great response from both local and international audience, as well as great reviews from the critics.
