Presenting a vast chronicle of life on the remote Kurage Island, the film centres on the disgraced, superstitious, interbred Futori family and the Tokyo engineer sent to supervise the creation of a new well - an encounter which leads to both conflict and complicity in strange and powerful ways.

"Love Games" is the debut full-length album from Evan Rogers, singer-songwriter-producer and part of the duo of Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers. In addition to Carl Sturken's contributions, John Nevin (who also would appear on Donny Osmond's 1989 comeback album) appears here on bass; he would resurface in 1991 as part of the Sturken/Rogers R&B/dance-rock band Rythm Syndicate.

"Barry White Sings For Someone You Love" is the self-produced 7th album by soul singer Barry White, released in 1977 on the 20th Century label. The album topped the R&B albums chart, White's first to do so since 1975. It also reached #8 on the Billboard 200, his second to reach the Top 10. The album was a success, yielding two Billboard R&B Top Ten singles, "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next To Me", which peaked at #1, and "Playing Your Game, Baby". "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me" was also a hit on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching #4. A third single, "Oh, What a Night for Dancing", reached #13 on the R&B chart and #24 on the pop chart. The album was digitally remastered and reissued on CD on September 24, 1996, by Mercury Records. The original vinyl album was released with three different covers. In addition to the beige fur with black letters cover shown above, the LP was also issued with dark brown fur and grey fur. Each of these covers had White's name and the album's title in white letters, and are harder to find than the more common light brown fur with black letters cover.

This limited edition version of Bruce Jackson's 'On the Road with Elvis' with 3 CDs featuring audio commentary by Jack Mullins and two soundboards: Sioux Falls, October 18 1976 and Atlanta, December 30, 1976, will be available as a Follow That Dream (FTD) release in September. Lionel Rogosin's religion could be dubbed liberation cinematography he made films as a way to fight injustice. In 1957, Rogosin followed his calling to South Africa creating Come Back, Africa - a powerful and moving drama exposing the harsh reality of life under the system apartheid. Shooting secretly under the very noses of the feared South African police, Rogosin, his crew and his cast (including journalists/activists Lewis Nkosi, Bloke Modisane, and Can Themba) risked arrest and deportation. Miriam Makeba, whose electrifying appearance in Come Back, Africa launched a legendary career, found herself banned from her country after she traveled to Venice for the movie's premiere. The scenes shot in the vibrant black ghetto of Sophiatown are precious images of a lost world. Nkosi later said of the film, It is a monument. We were able to show the world what South Africa really was like.
