Quentin Sirjacq was born in Paris in 1978. His eclectic musical interests keep him active as an improviser, a new music performer, and a composer of music for film, theater and radio. He studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands) between 1999 and 2004, where he completed an M.A. in Piano. While in the Netherlands, he played in a number of groups, he also worked with the bigband Tetzépi , Collison Palace and the Royal Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, and performed in such prestigious halls as the Bimhuis, Ijsbreker and Beurs van Berlage, in addition to appearing at various European festivals and stages like Fondation cartier, Palais de Tokyo, College des Bernardins…

Protagonista del film Sposami, Stupido! è Yassine (Tarek Boudali), un giovane studente del Marocco, da poco trasferitosi a Parigi per studiare architettura. A causa di una sveglia che non suona, il giovane non si presenta a un esame e perde il visto per studenti e si ritrova a essere un immigrato illegale - Yassine, jeune étudiant marocain vient à Paris faire ses études d’architecture avec un visa étudiant. Suite à un événement malencontreux, il rate son examen, perd son visa et se retrouve en France en situation irrégulière. Pour y remédier, il se marie avec son meilleur ami.
