Acclaimed director Abolfazl Jalili offers a compassionate story of the young Afghan refugee who lives illegally in Iran. 14-year-old Kaim drifts to the Delbaran crossing on the Afghan-Iran border, where he finds work at a coffee shop frequented by truck drivers. He feels at home in this small oasis of friendliness, though the sounds of war can be heard in the background, violent bandits prowl the roads, and opium is everywhere. As we watch Kaim run from one task to another day after day, we soon realize that we are watching a boy who is being cheated out of his childhood.

On July 24 2016 at the Orogel Stadium in Cesena (Emilia Romagna - Italy), we organized an event never seen before: Rockin'1000 will bring together 1000 Rockers, to perform live the songs that made the History of Rock, and create the biggest Rock concert ever: That's Live. It’s been one year since the Rockin’ 1000 launched their incredible “Learn to Fly” video, requesting the Foo Fighters to perform in Cesena, Italy. Overall, it’s a story that remains one of my favourite to ever happen in rock music. It’s well known Dave Grohl and company emotionally responded to the incredible video, which now has over 32 million views (declared Italy’s most seen video of 2015) and was listed in the “Best of 2015” by both Google and Facebook. The Foo Fighters made their dream come true by playing in Cesena, Italy this past November. Their opening song? “Learn to Fly.”

Don’t jump to the wrong conclusions: Jimmy Cornett & The Deadmen definitely don’t play rockabilly music! Frank Jäger’s highly visible double bass, which he likes to take a bath in the crowd with, playing it on his back, may imply as much, but this band from Hamburg doesn’t go in for clichés. Their career is as colourful as their songs, their lyrics as diverse as life itself. So perhaps we should first of all address the question of what kind of music they actually play.
