Jackie: Summer Special includes three discs filled to the brim with early to mid-'70s pop songs, many of them long forgotten and ranging in style from soul-pop (e.g., Diana Ross) to pop/rock (e.g., T. Rex). Perhaps best remembered for its innocence, Jackie was a magazine for teenage girls that was popular during the same era, and all albums in the series of albums so far have been packaged to resemble the magazine. Anyone who grew up reading Jackie is sure to enjoy this blast from the past. While there are plenty of obscurities on Jackie: Summer Special, there are also plenty of certifiable pop classics spread across each of the three discs.
