Musically, Franz Liszt (1811–1886) is one of the most written about but least understood composers of the 19th century. As for his life—Felix Mendelssohn observed that Liszt's character was "a continual alternation between scandal and apotheosis." "Scandal and apotheosis"? What could that possibly mean? Join music professor Robert Greenberg for these lectures, and go on a fascinating journey in search of the truth about both. "Franz Liszt, Both Sides Now," you might call it.

Then comprises songs from the band's first two albums, Asia and Alpha, which featured the band's original line-up of Geoff Downes, Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, and John Wetton. Now comprises songs recorded by the band after Howe's departure (including "Voice of America" from the band's third album, Astra).

Live tracks recorded on the "Then & Now" tour. For those who have ELP's "Then and now" album, "The show that never ends" will sound somewhat familiar. If you remove the "Then" tracks (recorded in 1974) from that album, what you are left with is this album. The fact that both are double CD packages gives an indication of the space which is therefore wasted here, indeed the omission of one short track would have allowed this to be a single disc.
Singer, guitarist and composer Rudy Rotta lived for the Blues. Deceased in the summer of 2017, the artist had already acquired the status of "legend of the blues" during his lifetime.
