The second album by Petra Magoni (vocal) and Ferruccio Spinetti (bass) is another piece of an original project, unique in many respects in Italian music. The voice sharp, ironic, bad, sweet Magoni moves back to the great songs of pop music: Come Together, Never Can Say Goodbye, but also original compositions like the beautiful Io Sono Metà or Le Due Corde Vocali in which joins, for the first time, the voice of Ferruccio Spinetti. Two voices to tell a story, a dialogue that sums up well what do you look for in Musica Nuda 2: the sharp reduction to the bare essentials across with ironic depth.

Little is known about the life of Domenico Zanatta (c1665-1748). He was most probably born in Venice, as the title pages of his manuscripts seem to attest, printing his first collection of sonatas at the tender age of 24. However, he also had a second endeavour and a great mastery of the cantata genre where his melodic inventiveness freely flows, continuing the tradition of his Venetian colleagues in a worthy way. Flavio Ferri-Benedetti and Musica Fiorita, under Daniela Dolci, present some of his pieces interspersed with works by Cavalli, Strozzi, who was a pupil of Cavalli, and Fontana: a pioneer of the, then new, stile recitativo.

From the time of the reign of the empress Elizabeth Petrovna a different way of life began to establish itself in Russia, and a different kind of woman, not only aristocratic through birth but also because she belonged to a creative élite: a woman at one and the same time musician, poetess and composer of ballads, who sang and played several instruments […] These 'new' aristocrats adopted European manners, combining them with typically Russian tradition. A true spate of recordings in recent years has illuminated the best qualities of Georg Philipp Telemann's chamber music, which is instrumentally colorful, adept in its combination of styles, and often possessed of sheer imagination and a delightfully cheeky sense of humor. For a great example of the kind of thing Telemann does all the time that Bach would rarely if ever do, hear the Entrée from the Ouverture for oboe d'amore, two violins, viola, and continuo in E major, TWV 55:E2 (track 6), where the music unexpectedly shifts into triple meter and back again.

Petra Magoni is considered to be one of most incredible voice as well for her interpreter's qualities today as on technical plan and Ferruccio Spinetti is surely one of the more brilliant bassist his generation and replacing a whole orchestra with its simple instrument. While the Musica Nuda's previous albums (Musica Nuda in 2004, Musica Nuda 2 in 2006, 55/21 in 2008) are primarly comprised of well-known standards, many of them in English (e.g., the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby", "come together", "nature boy", "kiss" etc.), the new album complici is comprised of a majority of original and unreleased songs and been immediately Charte n°1 on top Jazz (physical & digital) in France & Italy. "Complici" in Italian means complicity, an amazing complicity that did not cease evolving; growing for soon 8 years and that constitutes the cement and the soul of their unique duo. "Complici" is a sober disc, a disc of songs, where sobriety and emotion take the place of the explosive energy of the previous opuses.
