It was strange that this album should be released by EMI in the middle of February. Subtitled The Voice of Romance, Amour was the debut album by classical crossover's brightest young hope (don't they have a lot in that genre?), but it was released too late for Valentine's Day and EMI should have known that this sort of material really only sold well at Christmastime. Katherine Jenkins knew that, and timed her releases accordingly. With Natasha Marsh having been touted as the next big thing, Amour was a mixture of standard classical works and film music sung in a style suited to a soprano.
Thérèse – Vivre d'amour is a concept album of poems by St. Thérèse of Lisieux, with music composed by French musician Grégoire. The album features performances by Natasha St-Pier, Anggun, Sonia Lacen, Elisa Tovati, Les Stentors, Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois, and Michael Lonsdale. It was released on 22 April 2013 by Twin Music in France, Belgium, and Switzerland. "Vivre d'amour", a duet by Natasha St-Pier and Anggun, was released as the album's first single on 29 March 2013. In 2014, Thérèse - Vivre d'amour was nominated for a World Music Awards for World's Best Album.
The first "5.1 Surround Sound" release on Aurora contains three works by Natasha Barrett. Barrett was born in England, but moved to Norway in 1999, and is a central figure on the Norwegian electro-acoustic scene. These pieces are written and developed in the electronic domain, and composed especially for the surround sound environment, however the composer has developed stereo versions of the pieces as well, which are found on the standard CD available in the package. The pieces on Kraftfelt (Force Field) take place in the space between the abstract moving and the concrete descriptive. In "…fetters…" the laws of physics control the dramatic and audial content.
