Tara Jane O'Neil describes her eighth solo album as a singer/songwriter endeavor. At the invitation and design of Mark Greenberg (The Coctails), she recorded, mostly live, half of the record at Wilco's Loft Studio in Chicago with a band that included James Elkington, Gerald Dowd, Nick Macri, and Greenberg himself. The other half was made in O'Neil's home studio in California with Devin Hoff, Wilder Zoby, Walt McClements and string supervisor Jim James.

Dedication/On The Line is a 2007 American Beat 2-for-1 CD by singer Gary U.S. Bonds. The CD, released on 9 January, 2007, gathers 1981's Dedication and the majority of 1982's On The Line, as the CD was unable to feature one song ("Last Time") from the latter.

This is a wonderful four-disc collection of tracks from Peggy Lee's first solo stint with Capitol Records in the mid- to late-1940s, shortly after she left her spot as a singer with Benny Goodman's band in 1943, and her early sides for Decca Records, who signed her in 1952. While many would argue that her best work was done a decade later during her second go-round with Capitol, the selections here (many of them done with husband Dave Barbour and his orchestra) show an assured vocalist with a firm understanding of the pop side of jazz.

It reached #27 on the US Billboard 200 (#5 R&B), #33 in the UK Albums Chart and the Top 20 in Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands. The album cover was designed by Andy Warhol. The album contains Ross' Top 10, Grammy-nominated single, "Muscles", which was produced and written by Michael Jackson. All other tracks were produced by Ross. The song "I Am Me" is incorrectly listed as written by Cindy Birdsong instead of Janie Bradford on the Diana Ross Greatest Hits - The RCA Years compilation album. The album was certified Gold in the US and Silver in the UK.
