Written between 2006-2008 and recorded in 2008 in the famous Belgian ACE Studio (Ghiribizi, Mindgames) with equally famous keyboard player-producer Frank van Bogaert (Ohm, Fish on Friday) and the original line-up, this first full CD was released early 2009 on the own WAMP-label. The full CD immediately got a lot of attention and positive feedback in the worldwide specialized press, some songs appeared on samplers and lead to some interesting live gigs. Completely re-written by the new line up (Hans-Wes-Pete-Tom) in 2012-2014 and recorded mainly in Pete's Mushroomland studio in 2013-2014 and in the famous ACE studio (vocals) , this brand new CD is released on 15 May 2015 on the Freia Music label (THOR 24CD). Mixed by Pete and mastered by Frank van Bogaert ('Dr. ACE' / Fish on Friday) ,a great sound quality is achieved and this new release demonstrates the musical variety and great musicianship of the new line up. Famous among Progressive rock fans worldwide for being probably the classiest (and most complete) publication in this style, the Finnish magazine Colossus had the great idea to ask thirty bands of the whole world to illustrate the national Finnish epic: "Kalevala". It is made of old ballads and traditional songs, but is also part of a huge group of legends, which has inspired both J.R.R. Tolkien for his mythic "Lord Of The Rings" and composer Sibelius, among others. The idea that contributed to the creation of "Kalevala - A Finnish Progressive Rock Epic" was to use exclusively instruments of the Seventies, in order to obtain the "Aging" that the story needed. Sylvan is a German neo-prog band with an emphasis on the vocals and a powerful sound driven by keys and guitar. With their debut album "Deliverance", the German band from Hamburg open the door to this hidden world for all of us. The music takes you onto a journey full of miracles, dreams, love, passion and fortune. The dominant style of Sylvan is a mix of Symphonic Progressive Rock, neo Progressive and Classical Rock including touchs of the Progressive Metal, blended together in a new and interesting way, decorated with lot of intricate keyboards and guitars sounds and grandiose musical passages in all songs. Flamborough Head from Holland was formed in 1995 and they took their name after a cliff on the East Coast of England. They are playing modern melodic symphonic neo-progressive rock, and their debut CD is a symphonic masterpiece with long beautiful tracks. The musicians are very tight and their keyboard-based music is reminiscent to bands like Camel, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Genesis, IQ, Marillion, Pendragon, Pink Floyd.

Named after a fictional god from J.R. Tolkein's mythical epic The Silmarillion, Iluvatar has become an international progressive rock sensation. Formed in Baltimore in 1992 by vocalist Glenn McLaughlin, drummer Gary Chambers, bassist Dean Morekas, guitarist Dennis Mullin, and keyboardist Jim Rezek, the band follows in the footsteps of '70s prog heroes such as Genesis, Marillion, Styx, and Pink Floyd. The quintet pushed the boundaries of standard rock forms with technical wizardry and the incorporation of jazz and classical elements and is still known best for mixed-meter songwriting and heartfelt lyrical delivery. Yleclipse, from Cagliari, Italy, formed in 1998 under the moniker Eclisse. After the debut album, the band name was changed to Yleclipse. In fact, the band lists as their influences Genesis, Steve Hackett, Anthony Phillips, Marillion, Fish's solo material, IQ, and Pendragon. Yleclipse are certainly one of the best examples of neo-prog from Italy. The band describes their musical philosophy on their website: "The founder-members share the same love and interest for a particular musical field of research: progressive rock. The aim we've been trying to achieve since the earliest rehearsals and the first recording session, was to combine the peculiar progressive and experimental 'eclecticism' with the elegance and the immediacy of the pop song…

Leap Day was founded on the 29th of February 2008. This Dutch sympho outfit has members of wellknown bands from the world of progressive rock, such as Flamborough Head, King Eider, Nice Beaver, Trion and Pink Floyd Project. In 2008 they released their demo cd containing three songs, including Awaking The Muse which is the title of their first full-length studio album released through Oskar music in 2009. In terms of musical style we're treated to neo-prog of the vintage variety here, with nods in the directions of Camel and Genesis as far as possible influences go. Lush sonic tapestries with multiple keyboard layers and melodic, gentle guitar soloing will be found aplenty on this album, and the lead vocals calm and soothing with a few subtle dramatic flairs on select occasions. Melody and harmony are keywords for this production though, and if that sounds enticing you'll most probably enjoy this effort…

The Swedish band Carptree are lifelong friends (Niclas Flinck and keyboardist Carl Westholm) who in 1997 decided 'to combine good, and sometimes catchy, melodies with more dramatic and progressive arrangements.' In 2001 they released their self-titled debut to some mixed reviews. Some felt that they were a talented band, but others felt they relied too heavily on programmed synths. Their follow-up of Superhero in 2003, however, was a bit more accessible and appealed to fans of Genesis and Fish-era Marillion alike, while flirting with spacier textures in the form of Porcupine Tree. In 2005, Carptree took on a much darker tone with Man Made Machine. It still had that neo touch, but dabbled on what some have described as art rock…
