2020 album by the British neo-progressive rock band. Pendragon formed in 1978 in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England, as Zeus Pendragon by guitarist and vocalist Nick Barrett. The word Zeus was dropped before the band started recording, as the members decided it was too long to look good on a T-shirt. There were a few personnel changes in the early days, but since 1986 the lineup has remained relatively stable (with only the drummer changing several times since then) and the band were still active as of 2018.

Pianist, singer and daughter of the musician Dan Gharibian (founder of Bratsch) Macha Gharibian evolves in several kinds of music and mixes on stage her multiple influences. From jazz to world and folk music. At 20 she starts to write for theater by creating the music of the play Titus Andronicus (W. Shakespear) for a staging by Simon Abkarian. Mixing her own compositions with Rachmaninov and Messiaen pieces. (2003/2004 Théâtre Nationale de Chaillot). In 2005, her journey in New-York opens to her a new musical horizon, she discovers jazz and improvisation with new-yorkers jazz musicians such as Jason Moran, Ralph Alessi, Ravi Coltrane, Craig Taborn …

Prudence was one the most important bands on the Norwegian prog scene in the '70's, which included the likes of Aunt Mary, Junipher Greene, Titanic, Popol Vuh (Ace), Ruphus, Folque and HØST. They fused rock with old party/dance music from Trøndelag and (on their last album) sang in their local dialect, and thereby created a rock style dubbed Trønderrock.
