Obsidian is the record debut of the project co-led by drummer Andrea González, guitarist Eddie Mejia and double bassist Adrià Pinto. After sharing different life and professional experiences in recent years, these three young musicians, outstanding figures of the current jazz scene, are working together for the first time in their own project, Obsidian, with which they intend to synthesize their coexistence and their luggage. In this album, with the same name, we can hear the compositional side of each of them, arrangements that worked collectively give space to their identities to develop together. Elastic, introspective, free music, this album becomes an image, a point and follow in the trajectory of these three musicians who build their present in a collective key.
