Fabio Spinella brings both educational and professional backgrounds in music to Educator's Garage Band course. Fabio received his B.A. in Music Education from the University of Southern California and his Master's in Conducting from Southern Oregon University. He has been editing music professionally for 10+ years as well as teaching courses at a variety of universities. In this introductory course to Garage Band, Fabio gets the user setup and editing music in no time. Topics include Managing the Workspace, Loops, Effects, and Exporting Songs.

Known for his searching, often conversational style, guitarist Bill Frisell is also a maverick with a wide-ranging ear for avant-garde jazz, country twang, and droney noise. His albums with such varied collaborators as trumpeter Ron Miles, violinist Jenny Scheinman, and saxophonist Don Byron often sound like two or more people having an engaging discussion. Interestingly, barring 2000's Ghost Town, he has seldom recorded in a solo setting. Frisell amends this with 2018's mutative, deeply considered Music IS, his second album of solo recordings.

This album celebrates the delicacy and intimacy of the clavichord, the harpsichord’s quieter cousin, which was central to the daily life of musicians for centuries. The title is inspired by the story that Handel’s early biographer John Mainwaring tells, ab out the young Handel secretly going up to the attic during the night to practise on the clavichord, in defiance of his father.
