Oto-na-ri stars Junichi Okada as a photographer named Satoshi who prefers landscape photography to his daily grind of snapping photos of magazine models. Kumiko Aso plays a part-time florist named Nanao who lives in an adjacent apartment and dreams of someday moving to France. Though the two have never met, they do share a wall and occasionally inadvertantly eavesdrop on the daily goings-on of each other’s lives.

A brilliant documentary taking a look at life in the favela slums in Rio De Janeiro where a daily conflict exists, some call it a war, between ghetto residents and the police. With a labour market which doesn't pay a living wage to low end employees and positions netting an average 10x more in the drug supply chain ever present, it's no wonder why people in Brazil's slums turn to a life of crime. They sell drugs to the wealthy middle class (where there is always a market) and buy military grade weapons on the black market (mostly from corrupt police).

Love story concerning a pair of star-crossed lovers living in Rio de Janeiro's two-tiered society. Situated just above the awe-inspiring Ipanema beach in Rio is the Cantagalo slum. Every day, floods of Cantagalo residents make their way down the mountain, only to disappear into their surroundings as part of the invisible working-class that cleans apartments, works in restaurants, and sells food along the scenic, sun-drenched shores. Young Dé is just such a man. Dé lives with his mother Bernadette in a cramped Cantagalo apartment, selling hot dogs on the beach in order to make the rent. His brother Beto was killed when Dé was just a young boy, and his adopted brother Carlão has been jailed for a robbery that he didn't commit. One day, while working on the beach, Dé meets Nina, the only child of a successful lawyer named Evandro, who's none to happy to discover that his daughter is dating a member of the lower class. As Dé and Nina's romance intensifies, they both begin to realize that that society is dead set against them ever achieving any measure of true happiness together.

Aditi's is then introduced to Sushant Modi, who instantly finds approval, even with her reclusive brother, Amit. Mala anxiously awaits the climax as the story unfolds with many twists and turns.
