First of the Big Bands is a studio album by Tony Ashton of Ashton, Gardner and Dyke and Jon Lord of Deep Purple, released in April 1974 by Purple Records in the UK and Europe and Warner Bros. Records in the US. The project was Ashton's and Lord's brainchild and continuation of their working relationship after Ashton Gardner & Dyke helped out on Jon Lord's soundtrack album The Last Rebel from 1971. Stylistically, First of the Big Bands was the precursor to Paice Ashton Lord's Malice in Wonderland album from 1977. Most of the album was recorded at Air and Apple Studios, London, with additional work being completed at De Lane Lea and Island.

This DVD features the Whitesnake founding members performing Whitesnake’s greatest hits live! Guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody with bassist Neil Murray are joined by a host of well known guest musicians to perform all the classic songs that launched Whitesnake into the stadiums of the world. Their combined musical ability produce a phenomenal live show recorded in front of a sold-out audience in June 2004 at Mechanics in Burnley (UK).

Although best known from their days in Whitesnake, Bernie Marsden & Micky Moody prove here that good old fashioned blues/rock is far from dead. This album was a taster for their new studio album also being released on Talking Elephant. Here we see the band rocking the stage with classic Whitesnake numbers. Fronted by Johnny Lande Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal singer. Known for being the former vocalist of bands Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, The Snakes, and most notably of power metal band Masterplan, as well as for his solo career as Jorn.

"Here They Go Again" is the first album released by the English rock band The Company of Snakes. It is compiled of live recordings from concerts at the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany (first disc) and in the Norwegian city of Trondheim (second disc). Because of the musical background of band leaders Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody, almost the entire set list consists of old Whitesnake songs. The album title "Here They Go Again" also refers to a famous Whitesnake song "Here I Go Again" (of which there has been two versions; one released on Saints and Sinners and one released on Whitesnake. The Company of Snakes focuses more on the original version). Of this album, "Kinda Wish You Would" is the only song that made it onto T.C.O.S.'s (only) studio album Burst The Bubble.

"Once Bitten…" is the first album of British-Norwegian Hard rock supergroup The Snakes, released in August 1998. The Snakes feature Jorn Lande on vocals, ex-Whitesnake members Micky Moody and Bernie Marsden on guitars, Sid Ringsby (Jorn / TNT) on bass and Willy Bendiksen (Jorn) on drums. Great CD produced by Ronni Le Tekro (TNT guitarist) and heavily recommended for fans of Whitesnake.

For a huge army of fans around the world, the classic line-up of Whitesnake which recorded albums such as 'Ready An' Willing', 'Live In The Heart Of The City' and 'Come An' Get it' was the definitive rock band of the late 70s and early 80s. There is something unique about the combination of musicians who built Whitesnake's success that cannot be replicated, and the songs that they wrote and recorded together are still incredibly popular.
