La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures proudly present the remastered and expanded presentation of acclaimed composer James Horner's (STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN, ALIENS, GLORY, TITANIC) original motion picture score to the 1992 feature film dramatic thriller PATRIOT GAMES, starring Harrison Ford, James Earl Jones, Anne Archer and Sean Bean, and directed by Phillip Noyce. Horner's intense, Irish-tinged score expertly supports and builds this political thriller's complex characterizations, brooding intrigue and white-knuckle suspense. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Mike Matessino, Horner's PATRIOT GAMES score is finally given the deluxe treatment it deserves in this 2-CD set, which contains more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music. Harry Gregson-Williams is set to reunite with Antoine Fuqua on the upcoming action thriller sequel The Equalizer 2. The film stars Denzel Washington, Melissa Leo and Bill Pullman who reprise their characters from the original movie. They are joined by Pedro Pascal and Ashton Anders. Richard Wenk wrote the screenplay. Jason Blumenthal & Todd Black (The Pursuit of Happyness, Seven Pounds), Washington, Steve Tisch (Forrest Gump, Mace Neufeld (Patriot Games, Invictus), Alex Siskin and Tony Eldridge are producing the project. Gregson-Williams has previously scored the original Equalizer movie in 2014 and also collaborated with Fuqua (Training Day) on 1997’s The Replacement Killers. The director’s previous two movies, Southpaw and The Magnificent Seven, featured music by James Horner and Simon Franglen. The Equalizer 2 is set to be released on August 3, 2018 by Sony Pictures.

Clannad (derived from the word clan meaning ‘family’ in Gaelic) was formed in 1970 by siblings Moya, Ciarán and Pól Brennan and their uncles Noel and Pádraig Duggan (who sadly passed away in 2016), and for a short time later became a six-piece with the addition of Enya Brennan who then went on to have her own successful solo career. The multi-award winning band have, without doubt, done more than any other group to take Irish music and the Irish language to a worldwide audience. Fusing elements of traditional Irish music and more contemporary folk, new age and rock they have created a beautifully unique and ethereal sound which combines haunting melodies and mesmerising vocals to transcend the sands of time whilst appealing to a worldwide audience of all ages.
