Buddha-Bar Beach 10th anniversary In July 2014, George V Records released the first Buddha-Bar Beach compilation in collaboration with Radio FG. After 10 years of working with the hottest places (Nikki Beach, CDLC Barcelona, SLS Miami,…) and the most popular DJs (Be Svendsen, Camilo Franco, Notre Dame, Sebastien Leger, Paul Kalkbrenner,…) the concept has settled in the most beautiful places in the world: Mykonos, Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Crete, Bodrum, Porto Montenegro, Santorini, etc. Many more will follow. To celebrate this first decade, the small Parisian label is releasing a triple album that will take you on a journey through the day.

Hypnotic compositions, aesthetic arrangements, addictive and silky sounds follow a thrilling evolution promising a limitless Summer. The Milk & Sugar team quickly became an international brand synonymous with high-quality dance music and a special flair melding funk, disco and house styles. Its easy to see and hear how the twenty-eight tracks included here have influenced a whole new generation of bourgeoning DJ producers. The very first time we came up with our idea about a classic compilation in our label office everybody got really excited, says Milk & Sugar. In our heads we immediately started to collect the biggest reaction records we had played over the years. Ahead of their highly anticipated 20th Anniversary album Germany’s dynamic house duo Milk & Sugar are excited to announce their Legends of House compilation, featuring 28 iconic dance hits from the last twenty years.

THYLACINE is the scientific name of the Tasmanian wolf, a species that became extinct 70 years ago. A precious word that French musician William Rezé has chosen to tame so as to incarnate his progressive and vaporous electronica. Each individual track is imbued with a singular flavour and reveals the breadth of the artist’s cross-influences: from repetitive music pioneers – such as Steve Reich or Philip Glass – to John Zorn’s jazz experimentations and Massive Attack’s trip-hop. THYLACINE’s music combines the cadenced and melancholic techno of Paul Kalkbrenner with the aerial melodies of Moderat or Four Tet.
