Paul McCartney is to release a massive seven-inch singles vinyl box set next month. The 7″ Singles contains 80 vinyl seven-inch singles, starting with 1970’s ‘Another Day’ and working through the decades to ‘Women and Wives’ from 2020’s McCartney III.There are 65 recreations of singles/promos using restored artwork from 11 different countries. Additionally 15 singles are included that have never before been issued on seven-inch. These are mostly digital-only releases or songs that were for other reasons not issued on seven-inch.

Presented here are all of the studio master takes cut by the Paul Desmond-Jim Hall Quartet from 1959 (their very first collaboration on records) to 1965. A lovely recording showcasing both of them with a band conducted and arranged by Bob Prince has been added as a bonus. Recorded in New York City between September 1959 & June 1965.
