More than 20 years in the making, this December finally sees the release of i/o, Peter Gabriel’s first album of new material since 2002’s Up. During 2023, Peter has been releasing a new song from the album on the occasion of every full moon. Being revealed roughly every four weeks, each track has been allowed to find its own time and space, to enjoy its own orbit. “It’s a little like getting a Lego piece each month,” Peter explains.

Graham Dean is essentially a painter of identity. But more than the identity of the body, it is the identity of the soul that he evokes in his sumptuous watercolours. He was also a pioneer in early video technology. He shot his second film to be funded by the Arts Council ‘Undercurrents’ on 16mm film, featuring a series of images and live action footage which were then manipulated. The film was first exhibited in 1981 and is soundtracked by a 14 minute instrumental piece, written and recorded by Peter. The ‘Undercurrents’ music was previously unreleased until last year when it was newly mixed for inclusion in Graham Dean's Strange Beauty book.

This collection of four Peter Gabriel's solo albums has been re-issued on vinyl for the first time since 2002. Half-Speed Remastered and cut to lacquers at 45RPM, across 2 x heavyweight LPs, to deliver maximum dynamic range in the sound. Vinyl cut by Matt Colton at Alchemy Mastering, mastered by Tony Cousins at Metropolis and overseen by Peter’s main sound engineer Richard Chappell. These albums really have never sounded so good! Each album comes with a download card with a choice of digital download (Hi-Res 24/96k or 16/44.1k), and is a Limited Edition - 10,000 for the world.

This spectacular live concert, available for the first time on 4K, captures Peter Gabriel celebrating the 25th anniversary of his landmark album 'So'. To mark the event, Gabriel reunited his original 'So' touring band and for the first time fans saw them play the multi-platinum selling album in it's entirety. Alongside the core performance the 'So' album, the concert features unfinished and re-imagined songs alongside classic hits reflecting what a multi-dimensional artist Peter Gabriel is. 'Plays Live' was compiled from live recordings made at four venues across the American Midwest in late 1982. It is effectively a sign-off to the first phase of Peter Gabriel the solo artist. As such, it's a celebration of all that was achieved on that opening quartet of self-titled long-players, while also standing as confirmation that Peter was an engaged and engaging frontman. At the time, all bar one of the tracks would be familiar to the Gabriel completist, the exception being the previously unreleased 'I Go Swimming'. A studio vocal version of the song has still never been released. The touring band captured by the recordings consists of Peter, alongside Jerry Marrotta (drums and percussion), Tony Levin (bass and stick), David Rhodes (guitar) and Larry Fast (synthesizer and piano), whilst the iconic cover image of Peter in 'monkey mask' make-up was taken by long-time collaborator Armando Gallo.

Peter Gabriel combines the theatricality of his time as the leader of Genesis in the early '70s with widely appealing sounds and songwriting, making him an international star with the credibility of a cult hero. With his eponymous debut solo album in 1977, he explored dark, cerebral territory, incorporating avant-garde, electronic, and worldbeat influences into his music. The record, as well as its two similarly titled successors, established Gabriel as a critically acclaimed solo artist, and with 1982's Security, he began to move into the mainstream; "Shock the Monkey" became his first Top 40 hit, paving the way for his breakthrough So in 1986.

Peter Brian Gabriel is an English singer, musician, and songwriter who rose to fame as the lead vocalist and flautist of the progressive rock group Genesis. After leaving Genesis, Gabriel went on to a successful solo career.
