Peter Hollens

Peter Hollens (born March 4, 1982) is an American singer/songwriter, producer and entrepreneur. He has been involved with a cappella music since 1999 when he and Leo da Silva founded the University of Oregon's a cappella group, On The Rocks, known as the first official collegiate a cappella group in Oregon. He regularly releases new music videos to his YouTube channel.

Peter Hollens is an American pop singer and producer best known for his work on YouTube as an a cappella artist. Hollens is a one man Pentatonix he sings ALL parts of every song then layers and blends them together. With over 1.2 million YouTube subscribers, his videos have over 140 million views and his creativity is prolific, releasing a new video every two weeks. Hollens has collaborated with some of YouTube s biggest artists including Lindsey Stirling, George Watsky and Tyler Ward.

Recorded and produced by Hollens, the 13-track album features seven songs from my catalog in addition to six new songs. Included are songs from fan-favorite videos like ‘Misty Mountains’ and ‘I See Fire,’ plus an original composition ‘Ashland’s Song’ written about Hollens’ newborn son. The album will also feature collaborations with artists like Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys on ‘Our Special Love,’ Jackie Evancho on ‘Hallelujah,’ Lindsey Stirling on ‘Skyrim (Main Theme)’, and Avi Kaplan of Pentatonix on ‘Black Is The Color of My True Love’s Hair,' and Sabrina Carpenter from U2's hit 'Still haven't found what i'm looking for.'
