Tomi Malm hails from Finland and has been a respected figure for the past twenty-plus years on the North-European music scene. Malm works as a composer, arranger, orchestrator and producer on a multitude of successful records, TV themes and multimedia scores. In 2009, Malm rose to international attention with the now-classic release of Fly Away: The Songs Of David Foster, also on the Contante & Sonante label. Malm arranged and produced a number of David Foster's classics on Fly Away. Malm showed such creativity and freshness on these recordings that he gained high praise and blessings from “The Hitman” David Foster himself. That project took the West Coast/quality pop music scene by storm, and in the past few years it has become a landmark for musicians and fans of the genre on every corner of the planet.

One of the most positive and upbeat persons you'll meet, Rebecca Binnendyk's personality shines through on her debut album, "Some Fun Out Of Life". This album is refreshingly eclectic in its song selections. American Songbook standards by, amongst others, Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael are given fresh life via Binnendyk's supple, pure and versatile vocals, while her renditions of more contemporary tunes by Corinne Bailey Rae ("Put Your Records On"), Joni Mitchell ("Night Ride Home") and Phil Collins ("You'll Be In My Heart") fit seamlessly alongside, as does the most left-field choice here, Bon Jovi's hit "You Give Love A Bad Name". As the title suggests, the mood is predominantly light and upbeat, making for a fun listening experience. Binnendyk is a new talent to watch very closely.

"The Moonlight Sessions" is the title of the newest chapter in Ms. Stanley's remarkable singing career. With this project, Lyn creatively offers a number of jazz standards with classical twists together with refreshingly new takes on iconic pop songs. The project was developed with the intention of creating a new take and approach to arrangements and was dedicated to the famous arranger, Sammy Nestico, best known for his swinging Count Basie arrangements but also worked for many other music greats. He was involved in the development of this project from its inception.

Although California-born, Julie Felix found herself in Britain smack dab in the middle of the folk revival in the mid-'60s, and with her serviceable voice and exotic good looks, she was soon a poster girl for the U.K. scene itself, releasing an album a year for Decca Records between 1964 and 1966, all three of which are collected here in this two-disc set.
