This Collection Of Delicate Diamonds is an epic homage to Pink Floyd, a group with one of the most loyal and enduring fan bases of any band in the history of Rock music. The line-up performing these distinctive interpretations of Pink Floyd diamonds includes musicians from varied genres of popular music, including members of Asia, Black Country Communion, Deep Purple, Doobie Bros, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Hawkwind, Jethro Tull, Journey, King Crimson, Styx, The Doors, Toto & Yes.

Pickin’ on Pink Floyd delves into the extensive catalog of the world’s premiere cosmic rock band. This experimental and unique approach marries excellent bluegrass instrumental interpretations with the psychedelic space rock of Pink Floyd. Featuring some of America’s finest on mandolin, acoustic guitar, 5-string banjo and fiddle, this collection is a journey into the world of Pink Floyd in an organic improvisational nature. Pickin’ on Pink Floyd will take listeners on a ride through the imagination on a trip that is both mystical and fun.

After performing hundreds of concerts throughout Europe, enchanting thousands of people and playing festivals alongside all time greats like Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker, Manfred Mann and Asia, Echoes are now one of the premier Pink Floyd Tribute Bands. To echo the music has never been enough for this band and so the elaborate live shows convey the grandeur in all its facets.
In 2014 "Pink Floyd’s star pupils" (Vogtland-Anzeiger) ventured a new course and on top of their typically atypical renditions of Pink Floyd’s music they dared an experiment: the Pink Floyd acoustic concert - no amps, no safety net and no smoke and mirrors…

Given EMI's and Sony's ambitious Pink Floyd reissue program in 2011, a project of this type was inevitable. All the catalog selections listed here will be familiar to Floyd fans, but it should be noted that any jazz approach to the music in question should be given proper consideration in terms of pitch, time (as in real rhythm), and dynamic. Unfortunately, the Smooth Jazz All Stars provide none of these elements. They are like a group of high-school amateurs just out of band class and learning to play popular music from charts. It would be great to hear some contemporary jazz masters collaborate on Pink Floyd's music, since so much of it lends itself to the form. Unfortunately, this is anything but that.

Tribute albums are always a hit and miss affair. Sadly this latest Pink Floyd tribute album falls mostly in the miss area.The majority of the songs on offer are little more than low quality carbon copies of the originals with little to no creative interpretations added.
