Ash Ketchum, a kid from Pallet Town, embarks on a journey across the Kanto region to become a Pokemon Master. With his partner Pikachu, who at first hated Ash. But the bond of Pikachu and Ash builds as they travel to beat gyms and enter the league of Kanto.

Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the action adventure Pokémon Detective Pikachu. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, X-Men: First Class, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Wreck-It-Ralph, Kong: Skull Island). The soundtrack will be released on May 10 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon (CD version). Check back on this page for the full album details. Pokémon Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman and stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe. The movie based on the Pokémon franchise follows a teen who teams with Pikachu in order to find his missing father.
