Once again, Decca Records have been shining a light into the recesses of their vast archive to bring you 'The Decca Years 1963', a newly compiled collection of hits and rarities from the pioneers of British Pop music, available as a 45-song 2CD set, or a 22-song 'highlights' LP. Alongside big hits and familiar favourites from Brian Poole And The Tremeloes, Billie Davis, Kathy Kirby, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan, The Tornados, and Tommy Steele, we are excited to bring you some tracks that are being made available again for the first time in more than 60 years, and a few that have never been on CD before. Both formats come in eye-catching, retro style packaging that references Decca releases from the early '60s, and feature informative track-by-track sleeve notes.

Peggy Lee's alluring tone, distinctive delivery, breadth of material, and ability to write many of her own songs made her one of the most captivating artists of the vocal era, from her breakthrough on the Benny Goodman hit "Why Don't You Do Right" to her many solo successes that showed her bewitching vocal power, a balance between sultry swing and impeccable musicianship. Lee started out in the early '40s as the vocalist for the Goodman band, and shortly thereafter became a star in her own right. Though she had numerous pop hits, she constantly crossed the line between pop and jazz, and was hailed by numerous critics as one of America's finest singers in either genre. In addition, Lee was involved in the film world as both an actress and a composer, most actively in the '50s (she received an Academy Award nomination for her role in Pete Kelly's Blues).

A must for all Eurovision fans, the United By Music album features all the talented, somewhat quirky and occasionally bonkers participants from this year’s contest—because who doesn’t want to hear Europe’s finest (and most flamboyant) anthems all in one place? All 37 songs from the world’s largest TV music show contest are together on this official compilation. This 69th edition of the competition will take place in Basel, Switzerland, in May with the grand final hosted by Michelle Hunziker, Hazel Brugger, and Sandra Studer on Saturday 17th May.

CHRIS HARMS not only stands out as a musical chameleon with his band LORD OF THE LOST, but also with his very first solo album, 1980. The Bluebells’ Sisters is a perfect snapshot of early ’80s “Sound of Young Scotland”: Glasgow indie pop with bittersweet spirit, sharp hooks, and heartfelt harmonies. Signing to the then-nascent London Records, and working with a procession of esteemed producers (including Elvis Costello who became a mentor and teacher to the band), The Bluebells enjoyed three UK hits in the 1980s (‘Cath’, ‘Young at Heart’ and ‘I’m Falling’) before touring widely throughout Europe and North America, developing their live sound and signing to Seymour Stein’s Sire Records in the U.S.

Pulp confirms ‘Forty Odd Years’ compilation album will release alongside new studio album ‘More’.Pulp has confirmed the Forty Odd Years compilation album will be released alongside their upcoming eighth studio album, More. The Forty Odd Years compilation will be featured as a freebie in the June 2025 MOJO Magazine edition. A post to Pulp‘s Instagram confirmed the compilation would release later this year, with the covermount CD featuring a live version of deep cut Sheffield: Sex City, as well a series of BBC Session recordings.
