This album is a collaboration between Hugh Hopper of The Soft Machine and Kramer. Robert Wyatt is featured on "Free Will And Testament." A Remark Hugh Made was produced and engineered by Kramer. This album is recommended for fans of The Soft Machine and Kramer. Although this album was recorded long after the peak creative period of The Soft Machine, all artists on this CD demonstrate that they were not past their prime in 1994.

The German rock band Solar Project was founded in 1988 by Robert Valet, Volker Janacek and Peter Terhoeven. The music has a small amount of neo mixed with some elements of symphonic and melodic. The result is nice vocals (male, female and choir) melodic prog style and heavy rhythms. Many albums are marked by Pink Floyd's influence.

Due to the peculiar characteristics and influences, Spanish Prog bands are hard to describe inside the parameters of one Progressive Rock sub-genre, well get ready because Kotebel is even harder, at the first listen of any of their albums you notice that the main structure is basically Classical (In a broad sense) and Symphonic but you find many other different atmospheres one over the other as a collage, but specially a Prog Fusion touch provided by the piano and Synthesized violin.

Glass Hammer is a Symphonic Progressive Rock band from the United States. They formed in 1992 when multi-instrumentalists Steve Babb and Fred Schendel began to write and record Journey of the Dunadan, a concept album based on the story of Aragorn from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy. To their surprise, the album sold several thousand units via the Internet, The QVC Shop-At-Home Network and phone orders, leaving Babb and Schendel convinced that the band was a project worth continuing.

The two-keyboard approach was still being utilized, with singer Gary Brooker's piano being joined on some selections by the organ playing of multi-instrumentalist Chris Copping. However, the stately grandeur that had been previously applied with grace and subtlety gave way to a band that rocked much harder…

It was formed in 1994 by Nick Jackson as a psychedelic and multi-media band based in both London, England and Sault Ste. Marie, Canada. Citing influences such as Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, The Cure, the band combines progressive rock along with several other influences, including country, heavy metal, hard rock and pop. The band released it first full-length album, "The Stranger Inside the Self" the same year (1994). At this point, It was purely Nick Jackson's vehicle as he was the only full member of the band. Guest musicians were used to provide additional instrumentation for the album.
