Canadian “progressive thrash” legends Propagandhi have released their sixth studio recording and their second with Dave “The Beaver” Guillas on guitar. Celebrating three decades of politically charged works, "Failed States" is one of the band’s most forward thinking and musically varied albums to date. Pushing the boundaries, the evocative listen ranges from the dynamic “Note to Self” to the thrashing “Hadron Collision.” Failed States is a pivotal release from the hard-rocking metal band.

Failed States Remastered by Jason Livermore! You gotta hear the remastered version of the Failed States LP by Jason Livermore people. It's like a whole new record! Failed States is the sixth full-length album by the punk rock band Propagandhi. It was released on September 4, 2012. A remastered version was released through multiple digital streaming services on February 1, 2019 as Chris Hannah felt that the original version sounded inferior to the quality of Supporting Caste and Victory Lap.

The seventh studio album from Propagandhi, 2017's Victory Lap finds the Winnipeg post-hardcore outfit delivering a set of politically and socially aware punk anthems. The album follows up 2012's similarly inclined Failed States, and once again features the band's trademark mix of kinetic, prog-inflected arrangements, angular guitar riffage, and lead singer Chris Hannah's incisively literate, anti-fascist lyrics. It's also the first album the band has recorded with guitarist Sulynn Hago, who replaced longtime member David Guillas.

Propagandhi have announced their new album titled Victory Lap, which is due out on September 29, 2017 via Epitaph Records. The band last released Failed States in 2012.

For over 20 years The Blasting Room has been recording and producing acclaimed and celebrated records for bands from around the world. Co-owned by legendary punk rock songwriter/drummer Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) and his engineer counterpart Jason Livermore, The Blasting Room is a 4,000 square foot recording facility featuring studios with SSL and API consoles and a huge selection of vintage and modern gear.

The world has been waiting over five years for a new Nothington album and we're excited to finally bring you 11 new songs from the San Francisco quartet. Nothing ever comes easy to this band, and that's why it's taken so long, but you can hear that struggle and restlessness in this new batch of songs. Dual singers Jay and Chris are back at it with a solidified lineup, and this time we employed Motor Studios (Dead To Me, Propagandhi, etc.) to capture In The End. This is an album full of triumph and tenacity, turmoil and turbulence. Just the way you like it. Even better yet is that now that the band has awakened from hibernation, they're going to be active with tours and festival plays. Welcome back, gents.

During their relatively short time together SHOTMAKER harnessed the collective creativity of the Canadian DIY community to make something special happen. The band is widely recognized for influencing the direction of emo and post-hardcore music.

It wasn't long before punk rock expanded beyond just New York City, London, and Los Angeles during the mid- to late '70s, as evidenced by the emergence of the long-running Vancouver, Canada-based outfit D.O.A. Originally formed in 1978, D.O.A. have been led from the beginning by singer/guitarist Joe Keithley (aka Joey Shithead), joined by a wide variety of other bandmates through the years (including future Black Flag/Danzig/Social Distortion drummer Chuck Biscuits), although guitarist Dave Gregg was present for much of the hijinks up until 1990. The same year as their formation, D.O.A. issued a debut EP, Disco Sucks, before following it up with a pair of full-lengths that many longtime fans consider D.O.A.'s classic recordings, 1980's Something Better Change and 1981's Hardcore '81 (a popular compilation of both releases plus early tracks reared its head in 1984 as Bloodied But Unbowed).
