If you know Sweat It Out, you'd know it's not too often we release full length albums. So with this in mind, we are extremely excited to announce our fifth ever (!) album release by international signing Purple Disco Machine. Opening the year with massive remixes for Jamiroquai and Gorillaz, PDM dropped his first single in 2017, 'Body Funk', back in May. It went on to become the #1 most played track on BBC Radio 1 that month and is currently still the second most Shazam'd song in Ibiza, second only to single #2 from the album, 'Devil In Me (Feat. Duane Harden & Joe Killington)'. The 13-track album is as diverse as they come; touching on traditional disco house, through to funk, soul, boogie, nu-disco and indie dance. It also features some jaw-dropping collaborators including; CeeLo Green, Faithless, Kool Keith, Duane Harden, and Baxter just to name a few…

With over 1.8 billion streams worldwide, a Grammy win for Best Remix for Lizzo's "About Damn Time" in 2023 and being named #2 Beatport Artist Of All Time, Purple Disco Machine continues to dominate the global dance music scene with each new release. "Exotica" is a timeless disco track that is tailored for everyone’s tastes: from strident drum grooves to vocals that have been amazingly sown together. This track is a future club staple, paying tribute to Italian and German disco records as shown by being based around a replayed sample of 80’s Italo disco classic ‘Void Vision’by Cyber People. It should definitely be on your New Year’s Eve playlists, but we are more than sure that it will stay in your ears far after the big night into 2021. Purple Disco Machine stays at the top of his game with this latest release that is just a continuation of impressive work after remixes for Dua Lipa, Mark Ronson, Fatboy Slim, and one of his originals ‘In My Arms.’

The Rolling Stones have teamed up with German house DJ Purple Disco Machine to produce a remix of their song "Mess It Up" from their new record "Hackney Diamonds". The Stones' 24th studio album was released on October 20, the remix on Friday (November 17). You can read the interview with Jagger, Richards and Wood in our current cover story.
