Red Dragon

Zhang Yimou (Ju Dou, Raise the Red Lantern) is the executive producer of this film directed by his past associate/co-director Yang Fengliang (Ju Dou). This period revenge drama, set during the early days of Republican China, begins when the wedding of Lanjuan (Taiwanese actress Wu Chienlien) is interrupted by gunfire that wipes out her family. Almost a decade later, obsessed with revenge, she engages the services of hitman Li Qingyang (You Yong) to kill the assassins, headed by Dragon Town warlord Xiong Jinbao (Huang Zhongqiu). Assuming the identity of a merchant and his wife, Li and Lanjuan begin living in the town during the New Year Festival. Unknown to Lanjuan, Xiong's rival Hu Danlong (Lam Wai) has also contracted Li to kill Xiong. In an interesting story twist, Xiong deduces the couple's identity, and becomes friendly with them, with more unique plot threads unraveling as the tale develops.

A creation of The Ninjai Gang, Ninjai is a web-based animation that centers around the life of Ninjai, a young samurai/ninja who is traveling the world looking for meaning and purpose in his life. Along the way, his path is crossed by characters like rogues or people who help him. Ninjai's best friend is 'Little Bird', a cute and brave side kick with whom Ninjai often converses.

Cynthia Yang Li-ching replaces Michelle Yeoh in the lead for this wild and woolly police thriller directed by Arthur Wong and Brandy Yuen. The film opens in Japan with red army terrorists Nakamura and Michiko Nishiwaki (Michiko Nishiwaki) staging a major heist as a part of an insurance fraud scheme. In the ensuing melee, Tokyo cop Hiroshi Fujioka (Hiroshi Fujioka) loses his partner, and, vowing revenge, follows the criminals to Hong Kong. Rachel Yeung (Yang) is assigned to tail Fujioka to make sure he stays out of trouble. When he happens upon Nakamura et al, a bloody gunfight ensues, resulting in massive loss of innocent life. Later, Yeung tracks down the terrorists and kills Nakamura. Nishiwaki vows vengeance.

Hannibal Rising is a 2007 crime thriller/horror film, the fifth and final film to feature Dr. Hannibal Lecter. It is a prequel to Red Dragon, The Silence of the Lambs, Manhunter and Hannibal. The film is an adaptation of Thomas Harris' 2006 novel of the same name and tells the story of Lecter's evolution into the infamous serial killer of the previous films and books.

A secret society of Hong-Kong at the beginning of the century called "The Red Dragon Tong" kidnaps the captain of a ship in the harbour of Hong-Kong as he tries to detain the killers of his daughter. Because the secret society is very powerful it is not easy to free him from their hands.
