"Nightclubbing: The Birth of Punk Rock in NYC" is the first-ever documentary about the renowned New York City nightclub Max's Kansas City (1965-1981), which had an indelible impact on the world of music, fashion, art, culture, and the creation of the New York City Punk Rock scene. As the legendary Alice Cooper puts it: "A million ideas were launched back there," referring to the Max's Kansas City famous backroom, where everybody gravitated toward the pop art genius Andy Warhol, who held court there. This first-ever film on Max's Kansas City features never-before-released footage, including footage of three of Warhol's superstars – Jayne County, Ruby Lynn Reyner and Penny Arcade.

Following the success and widespread critical acclaim of his 2020 release ‘Whereabouts’, Danish guitarist/composer Rasmus Oppenhagen Krogh proudly presents his third record, ‘Until Then’, set to release on October 20th on April Records.

We’re thrilled to present this, our first full length album, with some of our favorite musicians, and the culmination of four years of work! It started in early 2019 with recording sessions not long after the band was formed, but then interrupted by the pandemic. That difficult time became part of our journey, creating and releasing our “Quarantine Tracks” EP in 2021. As the world opened up, we got back to work on this album, with a clearer identity and desire to reconnect with dancers and music lovers. We hope this music gives you as much joy as it was to create. 'Detour Tunnels of Light' is the debut duo album from renowned improvisers Martin Kuchen and Sophie Agnel. On the recording, made in a Swedish church in February 2022, they combine the raw and the delicate, blending slow swinging percussion with a hissing sopranino sax and a cracked, symphonic grand piano - like a vintage music box.

Triptykon is the fourth album by Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek, his third release on the ECM label, and is performed by Garbarek with Arild Andersen and Edward Vesala.

Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek took several intriguing stylistic turns early in his career, none more extreme than that shown on Triptykon. While he had always shown an affinity for the work of Albert Ayler and other free jazz musicians who came of age in the '60s, his prior albums retained a more straight-ahead rhythmic drive and more than a passing nod to experimental rock and fusion. Here, he jettisoned guitarist Terje Rypdal and replaced the sometimes overly delicate percussion work of Jon Christensen with the more earthy and heavy sounding Edward Vesala. The result is an expressionist trio drawing on both free improvisation and Scandinavian folk tunes, roaring, stumbling, and reeling, evoking an aural equivalent of Edvard Munch.
