Originally a record store specializing in reggae, Greensleeves Records was one of the most prestigious record companies in the independent music industry in London, and a music publisher for artists and producers of Jamaican music in Europe. For the 40th anniversary of the "Total Reggae" series, a representative selection of high-quality recordings of classics, hits and rarities was compiled in chronological order. The range ranges from the finest UK reggae of the founding years, Jamaican Roots, Dub and the Deejays of the early Dancehall reggae with the heavy-weight sounds of the Roots Radics, about the end of the 70s to early 80s, over the pioneering development of the digital reggae In 1985, with ever-growing genre boundaries and the most commercially successful phase of the 90s and Nuller years, with the subgenres Hardcore Ragga, Dancehall / Bashment and Modern Roots.

Riding High is a 1996 compilation CD by Jamaican singer and musician Bob Marley. Originally released in 1984, this consists of material Marley did between 1970 and 1971 before he was signed by Island Records. This edition was put out by Emporio.

2007 album from the Rock 'N' Roll outfit, which sees them embrace their Reggae influences with legendary guest musicians Toots Hibbert, Michael Franti and Willi Williams. Mighty High features Reggae and Dub versions of classic Mule covers including Al Green's, 'I'm A Ram', The Rolling Stones' 'Play With Fire' and Otis Redding's 'Hard To Handle'. The album packs in plenty of the band's legendary Rock 'N Roll with most tracks recorded in the studio and others remixed dub-style from Gov't Mule's 2006 New Year's Eve concert at the Beacon Theatre, NYC.

The rise of Reggae musician Levi Roots is one of the most heart-warming success stories ever. His Reggae Reggae Sauce has been a phenomenon but he is known as much today for his regular TV appearances (such as being guest chef on Lorraine), radio programmes (his current run of Radio 2 shows features the best of Reggae music across the decades) and his Caribbean restaurant.

Born in Ghana, West Africa, he migrated to the US in 1996. Gordon joined the Non-Formal Education Division (NFED) program as a lead singer for the then World Bank sponsored Adult Education Program (AEP) band, Adehyeman. It was during the five-year role as singer of the band that Gordon developed an in-depth understanding of music composition and arrangement since he had the opportunity to sing numerous songs from different genres of international quality. It was also during these years that Gordon developed his own singing style and voice.
