Alice, now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera and L.J., along with new survivors Claire, K-Mart and Nurse Betty, to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead… and to seek justice. Resident Evil is a 2002 science fiction horror film based on the same titled series of Survival horror games developed by Capcom. Borrowing elements from the Resident Evil 1 and 2 video games, the film follows an amnesiac heroine Alice, and a band of Umbrella Corporation commandos, as they attempt to escape a secret underground facility that at one time was filled with people but is now overrun with zombies. The film was directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. Although Resident Evil received some negative reviews, financially it has been successful enough to have several sequels made.

The story is set in between the events of Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. BSAA agent Chris Redfield is tracking Glenn Arias, a death merchant who is on a mission of vengeance against the U.S. government for killing his family, friends, and wife in a drone strike at their wedding.

This box set includes Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction.
