Now in 2015, Songs From The Road, captures a dynamite set from a band that has made it their business to blow off the roof. “We get up onstage and we turn it on,” says Spin Doctors vocalist Chris Barron. “We play our hearts out.” Stop the man on the street and he might tell you the Spin Doctors are the zillion-selling legends behind hits like Two Princes and Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong. Ask a longer-term, harder-core fan, though, and they’ll remind you that Chris Barron, Aaron Comess (drums), Eric Schenkman (guitar) and Mark White (bass) came up playing for their lives on the sharp-end of the New York blues circuit. “Those blues clubs were our bread and butter in the late-’80s,” says Aaron, “and people loved that we stretched out and jammed out.”

A brand new album of unreleased material, from Black Country, New Road, recorded at the historic music venue, Bush Hall in London at a series of unique shows at the end of December 2022. Mixed by John Parish and mastered by Christian Wright at Abbey Road, the new album and material marks a new chapter for the band as a six-piece.

Fogerty returns to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in 37 years. John and band perform a lengthy set - over an hour and forty minutes - in the classic venue, covering all phases of John's career. Also included, in both live and studio versions, is a previously unreleased track. John's stellar band includes longtime bandmates such as Kenny Aronoff (drums), Billy Burnette (guitar) and Jason Mowery (fiddle, mandolin and lap steel). A true family affair, the concert also features guest appearances from John's sons Shane & Tyler. ~cdUniverse

Progressive bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles are from Duluth, Minnesota, where frontman Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time, Simonett had lost most of his music gear, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who'd ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, he began piecing together a new band, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass, folk, and other genres that didn't rely on amplification. Simonett hadn't played any bluegrass music before, and he filled his lineup with other newcomers to the genre, including fiddler Ryan Young (who'd previously played drums in a speed metal act) and jam band bassist Tim Saxhaug. Along with mandolinist Erik Berry and banjo player Dave Carroll, the group began carving out a fast, frenetic sound that owed as much to rock & roll as bluegrass.

The Wide Open features award winning duo Season Ammons and Allen Rayfield. Their distinctive style of soulful, blues-infused vocals, swampy harmonica riffs, distorted banjo licks and well-crafted lyrics with R&B grooves lends itself to the new movement that is Americana Music. Allen Rayfield is a three time WINNER of "Best Harmonica Player" in The Emerald Coast and Season Ammons was nominated in 2014 by The Academy of Texas Music for "Best Female Vocalist" and the duo was recently nominated for "Best Americana Album" in 2016 by The Independent Music Awards.
