Born in Florence on December 6, 1969, Italian singer Irene Grandi spent her young-adult years in bands that traversed the local club scene, not striking out as a solo artist until 1992, when she hooked up with songwriter Telonio and began working on new material. The song "Un Motivo Maledetto" caught the ear of the CGD label, and soon Grandi was signed, with a 1994 self-titled release on the way — after the requisite stop at the San Remo Festival, of course. The next year In Vacanza Da una Vita came out, followed by Per Fortuna Purtroppo in 1997. Two years later Verde Rosso e Blu hit shelves, but it took four more years for a new studio album, Prima di Partire, to be released (in the interim a greatest-hits collection, Irek, was issued). In 2005 Indelebile came out, followed but another greatest-hits compilation, Irene Grandi.Hits, in 2007.

Stato libero di Litfiba è un disco dal vivo del gruppo rock fiorentino Litfiba la cui uscita è oggi 1 Giugno 2010. Il disco è quello che sancisce la reunion del gruppo vera e propria con il ritorno alla collaborazione del duo storico Pelù-Renzulli ed è l'incisione dei 5 concerti che i Litfiba hanno tenuto per "promuovere" la reunion del duo Pelù-Renzulli dopo che questo si era diviso nel 1999 alla fine della tournèe di Infinito; dopo alcune date di prova eseguite all'estero sono state tenute 5 date a Milano, Firenze (due), Roma e Acireale nel mese di aprile che sono state registate e hanno dato vita a questo live album. Fanno parte del doppio album anche due inediti: Sole nero, primo singolo di cui è stato girato un videoclip, e Barcollo.
