Romantica are an Americana band from Minneapolis and Belfast formed in 2002 by Ben Kyle. The band's members, past and present, have come from the Minneapolis-St. Paul, Twin Cities area. Mixing together elements of folk, rock, and Americana, Romantica creates a rich and unique sound. The original line-up consisted of Kyle (vocals and guitar), Luke Jacobs (bass and keys), Mark Hedlund (drums) and Christopher Becknell (violin). While the group's members and contributors have changed over the years, Kyle's vision, vocals and songwriting have been the consistent thread throughout the different iterations.

Enrique Soro rose to great esteem not only as Chiles leading composer but as a distinguished pianist, conductor and teacher. The Sinfonía romántica was the first symphony to be composed in Chile and remains the most important example of the genre in the countrys musical history. Soros melodic distinction, mastery of orchestration and his sense of form are equally distinguished. The Tres aires chilenos espouse a kind of nationalism, fusing Chilean folk music, specifically the tonada, with the European classical tradition. The rousing Danza fantástica is a perfect concert opener.

Outlaws features 10 songs that were outlawed from previous Romantica recordings, including the singles Love in the Winter, Dear Caroline and crowd favorite Baby Killed Bobby, all recorded for the lost album God and Love and War as well as interpretations of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and the Beatles’ Something, an appearance with Ryan Adams on a live recording of The Dark, and three unreleased tracks from the Shadowlands sessions in 2015 at Shepherd Hills Farm. It features contributions from former Romantica members Luke Jacobs and James Orvis, current members Tony Zaccardi, Danger Dave Strahan, Ryan Lovan, and Aaron Fabbrini as well as longtime collaborators Jessy Greene, Eric Heywood, Carrie Rodriguez, Joe Savage, Alex Oana, Tom Herbers and Brad Bivens.

Franco Alfano is remembered today for his completion of Turandot after Puccini’s death. His catalogue of works, including operas, orchestral and chamber music, reveals him to be a sophisticated and original composer. Alfano possessed an innate melodic facility combined with a talent for unexpected timbres, as heard in the luxuriously orchestrated Suite romantica which, in the composer’s own words, aims to convey ‘the feelings of two lovers travelling through Italy’. From the neo-Classical Divertimento to the noirish postwar Nenia, and from the lightness of touch of Amour… Amour… to the impressionistic and iridescent Una danza, each work reveals a different aspect of this multifaceted composer.
