Art & Soul is the 1999 CD by jazz pianist Renee Rosnes. Released on 31 August, 1999 by Blue Note, the album also features vocal contributions from Dianne Reeves in two tracks plus rain stick help from Richard Bona.

La-La Land Records, Universal Music and Paramount Pictures present the world premiere release of acclaimed composer Danny Elfman’s (BATMAN, EDWARD SCISSORHANDS, WANTED, ALICE IN WONDERLAND) original score to Paramount Pictures’ 1988 holiday comedy SCROOGED, starring Bill Murray, Karen Allen, David Johansen and Bobcat Goldthwait, and directed by Richard Donner. An important score in Elfman’s cannon, SCROOGED was the composer’s first big-budget Hollywood score-and one that clearly anticipates his next, and most iconic work, BATMAN. For this wickedly funny and inventive update of the immortal Dickens Christmas classic, Elfman fashions a robust, sophisticated musical tapestry that expertly weaves together the film’s varied tones, which runs the gambit from wildly broad comedy and holiday cheer to gothic horror and emotional drama. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Mike Matessino, this special release features bonus tracks, source cues and exclusive liner notes from film music writer Jeff Bond, with new comments from Director Richard Donner and others.

3CD deluxe edition containing the original UK version of the album with 14 previously unreleased tracks including (scream!) three Girls Aloud tracks never heard before- all were produced by Xenomania, and they number the band's cover of the Chris Isaac classic, 'Wicked Game' plus two new songs that didn't make the final cut, 'Disco Bunny' and 'Baby When You Go'. There are also classic B-sides such as 'Androgynous Girls' and 'History', rare TV performance edits of the hits, a sparkling selection of the album's attendant remixes, and Girls Aloud's much-loved covers from this era of Blondie's 'Hanging On The Telephone' and Chaka Khan's 'I'm Every Woman'.

'Delta Kream' celebrates the band's roots and features eleven Mississippi hill country blues standards that they have loved since they were teenagers, before they were a band, including songs by R. L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough, among others.

JOHNSON (including sideman CECIL PAYNE’s first recordings ever), STAN GETZ, SONNY STITT and KENNY DORHAM, RAY BROWN, FATS NAVARRO, SERGE CHALOFF, KENNY HAGOOD, LEO PARKER, and BREW MOORE. Also included are reputation-making sessions for TADD DAMERON (both under his name and on another session led by Navarro), HOWARD McGHEE, KENNY CLARKE, and MILT JACKSON, whose bebop conversion changed the course of vibes playing forever. This set includes 216 tracks from 34 sessions across 10 CDs, with many alternate takes so you can evaluate the evolution of a tune as the music itself was evolving. It’s taken nearly 70 years to put this collection together, and it’s a good bet nothing like it will appear again in your lifetime.
