Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a new 2CD anthology celebrating the British rock band Widowmaker. Formed in 1975 by former Mott the Hoople and Spooky Tooth guitarist Luther Grosvenor, also known as Ariel Bender. The original line-up of the band featured vocalist Steve Ellis (ex-Love Affair & Ellis), guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton (ex-Hawkwind), Australian bassist Bob Daisley (ex-Chicken Shack) and drummer Paul Nicholls who had previously been a member of Lindisfarne. A few months after they had begun rehearsing at Emerson, Lake & Palmer's Manticore Studios in London, Widowmaker signed to Don Arden's Jet Records label.
German power metallers RUNNING WILD will release their new album, "Resilient", on October 4 in Germany and October 7 in the rest of Europe via Steamhammer/SPV. RUNNING WILD mainman Rolf "Rock'n'Rolf" Kasparek has come up with twelve storm-proof numbers, ten of which are scheduled for release on the regular CD. Two bonus tracks will be included on the limited version of the album.

Blazon Stone is the sixth album by German band Running Wild, released in 1991. The album has sold over 440,000 records worldwide. According to Rolf Kasparek in an interview to a Brazilian heavy metal/hard rock magazine (Roadie Crew, ed. #41, June 2002), Blazon Stone is the best-selling album by the band, in the 1990s. It is also their first album with both guitarist Axel Morgan and drummer AC.
