Nick Lowe's triumphant return to the indie world back in 1994 was marked by the release of the critically acclaimed The Impossible Bird by Upstart Records. With the overall excitement that followed the release, it was evident that Nick's music had taken a slightly different twist on the road to a more mature tone and stripped down musical arrangement. And although it was unknown at the time, Nick's next two records Dig My Mood and The Convincer would travel the same road, achieving greater results and success with each effort.

This phenomenal French bassist leads a fine European group through some burning instrumentals. With special guests Mike Stern, Frank Gambale, Bireli Lagrene on guitar; Toots Thielemans, harmonica; Billy Cobham, drums and Mino Cinelu on percussion.

With a heavy metal thunder, Zodiac stomps onto the music scene, debuting "A Bit of Devil". Saying that the seventies rock revival is going strong would be a severe understatement. This album doesn't have a debut feel to it, it's the band's confidence that shines through their music that makes them formidable. This album is another time traveler, taking you back to 70's revival rock. The song " A Bit of Devil" is classic hard rock at its best. Plenty of blues driven melodies are interlaced throughout this album, gritty powerful guitar driven wonder.
