Violonist MI-Sa Yang and pianist Adam Laloum present a program that mirrors four composers of different sensitivities who, in their confrontation with the second Vienna School's radical theories, have each sought in a genuine, personal way, to provide an alternative solution to the problems raised by the evolution of the musical language.

From the late 17th century until well into the 18th century, Alessandro Scarlatti was one of the most important figures in European musical life, influencing musical development in both opera and instrumental music.

Following his acclaimed debut album Roma Travestita (2022), male soprano Bruno de Sá presents his second recording, Mille Affetti (“a thousand emotions”). The album focuses on vocal works from the Classical period, featuring works by composers from Italy, Germany and Bohemia, interspersed with instrumental works by Beck, Mysliveček and Mozart. There are six world premiere recordings of arias by Cherubini, Caruso, Alessandrini, Seydelmann, Reichardt, and Zingarelli.

Recording St. Matthew Passion with boys’ and young men’s voices is an exceptionally intensive experience. Singing from memory and seeing Jesus’ suffering from the trusting perspective of children leads you to a different conclusion than it would with adult singers.
