Here is the first re-issue from the Astrée-Naive catalogue for Alia Vox Heritage. One of Jordi Savall's legendary recordings, the Monteverdi Vespers was recorded in the Santa Barbara chapel in Mantova, Italy, the site of the premiere in 1610.

Second Helping was Lynyrd Skynyrd's second album. Feauring the hit single "Sweet Home Alabama", the album reached #12 on the Billboard album charts. It was certified Gold in 1974, followed by Platinum and 2x Platinum in 1987 by the RIAA.

The Composer of Desafinado, Plays is Antonio Carlos Jobim's debut album originally released in 1963. The Brazilian musician and composer was known as one of the primary influences behind the creation of the bossa nova musical style. The record features all original compositions, including "The Girl from Ipanema" one of the most widely recorded songs of all time.

Free Live! is a live album by English rock band Free. It was rush-released by Island Records to commemorate the band, who had broken up in April 1971. Possibly because of the publicity caused by their breakup (which had also earned them a successful parting single "My Brother Jake" that same month) the album was a hit, reaching #4 in the UK album charts.

As one of the most popular California pop/rock bands of the '70s, The Doobie Brothers evolved from a mellow, post-hippie boogie band to a slick, soul-inflected pop band by the end of the decade. Along the way, the group racked up a string of gold and platinum albums in the U.S., along with a number of radio hits like "Listen to the Music", "Black Water", and "China Grove".

2015's collection of Bryan Ferry, released in Japan as SHM-SACDs. Features new DSD flat transfer from the original analogue master tapes. Includes the albums: These Foolish Things (1973), Another Time, Another Place (1974), Let's Stick Together (1976), In Your Mind (1977), The Bride Stripped Bare (1978), Boys And Girls (1985).

Born in Western Australia to immigrant parents who had fled the communist regime in Poland, Konrad's musical affinity and passion for jazz piano revealed itself early on. On this album, Konrad Paszkudzki and his piano join together with Dylan Shamat, bass, and Dag Markhus, drums, to compile a 13-track SACD full of jazz's favorite staples from the Cole Porter songbook.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow is an album by American Jazz pianist Harold Mabern. It was recorded in 2005 and released by Venus Records. All of the compositions are by Harold Arlen. Mabern commented that, "I've always studied him because his music is very bluesy. And you don't really have to do anything to his music but just go ahead and play it". Jones uses brushes on most of the tracks. "A Sleeping Bee" gets a "gospel-inflected soul-jazz treatment". "This Time the Dream's on Me" has "a hip Latin vamp to introduce a soul-jazz-infused arrangement". Mabern's arrangement of "Savannah" begins as a calypso and then shifts into hard bop.

A wonderful jazz album, dedicated to Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong. Featuring trumpeter Byron Stripling who's also singing his two favorite songs in Nikki style. The other musicians is John Di Martino (piano) & Alvin Atkinson (drums).
