Two detectives who are up to their necks in trouble and in each other's face, as they try to shut down a drug-trafficking scheme that could be connected with international ties to organized crime. But in the mist of their investigation, innocent immigrant dock worker Luk Wan-Ting gets caught up in the mix when he witnesses the murder of an intelligence operative and is framed for the crime. After escaping police custody and after his friend is brutally killed by hired assassins in search of a film negative that Luk lost, he has no choice but to return to Hong Kong until the heat cools off. Donny and Penny Yeung are called in to extradite him with the aid of Captain Michael. Penny believes that Luk is innocent and tries to do everything in her power to help him, while Donny who is skeptical about Luk's innocence, thinks he's guilty and does his best to snap the cuffs on him. As the two do more investigating, they learn that the drug cartel could have connections with rogue C.I.A. operatives, who could also have someone on the police force keeping tabs on them about their investigation. At this point, Penny and Donny don't know if they can trust their own co-workers or even each other for that matter and Luk's testimony to what he saw poses a threat to the criminals involved in the conspiracy. Now for the next 72 hours, Penny and Donny will have to learn to tolerate each other while trying to protect Luk from the assassins who want him silenced. If they can do that, the bad guys don't stand a chance and they just might all survive this case…if they don't end up killing each other first!

In the final episode of the series Dr Alice Roberts goes in search of the Tudor age, a time that saw momentous changes across all aspects of British life. Along the way Alice visits excavations at Shakespeare's first theatre in London's Shoreditch, where the Bard began his career and Romeo and Juliet was first performed. Alice also joins a team sifting through Shakespeare's rubbish at his last home in Stratford-Upon-Avon, and finds revealing clues about his carefulness with money. In a remote corner of Wales Alice meets a team of archaeologists uncovering the brutal realities of Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries, a conflict that would change the very fabric of Britain. On the muddy banks of the Thames Alice discovers the rich history of a forgotten royal palace, which was home to the Tudor kings and queens. And she learns about a mysterious Tudor shipwreck which dates from this age of exploration and trade.

Some of you might have already met this marvelous collection on DVD but for the first time in the web it is uploaded as separate avi's so that each cartoon is just 25 to 120 MB in size - pretty handy to download. The artists featured on the second volume of Image Entertainment and Jove Films' enchanting Masters of Russian Animation, in their decision to abandon the real world in favor of one over which they have complete control, knew full well the inherent power of images. Each of the twelve short films presented on the disc, spanning a broad range of styles and moods, is more astounding than the next. Unfettered by the laws of nature, the animator's vision is of the purest essence, limited only by the boundaries of their imagination (a lesson well learned by modern visionaries like Tim Burton and the Brothers Quay). Given the oppressive conditions under which these films were created – Russia has never been a bastion of free speech and unrestrained creativity – the decidedly upbeat message delivered by most of the shorts came as somewhat of a surprise. The overall picture painted is glaringly positive.

Already familiar to many, especially following his acclaimed directorial debut Jour De Fete, Jacques Tati came into his own and reached new levels of popularity with 1953's Les Vacances De Monsieur Hulot. The first film to introduce his much-loved alter ego Monsieur Hulot, it sets the pattern for future appearances of the character, throwing the bumbling hero unwittingly into the middle of the action and letting the ensuing mishaps provoke humor ranging from gentle observations to fairly biting satire. The setting this time is a stuffy resort community fond of the peace and quiet that Hulot interrupts without fail. Nearly dialogue-free and driven more by episode than plot (like all of the Hulot films), standout set pieces include a disrupted funeral, an interrupted game of cards, and – one of Tati's signature bits – a game of tennis played with rules that can politely be called unconventional.
