After his debut on Decca with "Guitarra Clasica", Eugenio Della Chiara returns to the recording studio to create a new album entirely dedicated to Schubert.

Schubert's publisher Tobias Haslinger published fourteen songs under the title "Schwanengesang" one year after the composer’s death. Schubert had written them down in rapid succession shortly before his death, which indicates that they were partly conceived as a song cycle.The German bass-baritone Hanno Müller-Brachmann was a member of the ensemble of the Berlin State Opera from 1998 until 2011 and has also appeared at the Bayerische, Hamburgische and Wiener Staatsoper and San Francisco Opera. Christoph Deluze began his first musical studies at the Neuchâtel conservatory as a pupil of Dinu Lipatti. He then went to the Guild HallSchool of Music of London in the piano class of E. Philipp. During this period he was one of the few pianists who was able to work with Shura Cherkassky.

His love for the works of Schubert led Ammiel Bushakevitz to the art song repertoire. He received mentorship in this field from notable singers including the late Dietrich FischerDieskau, Thomas Quasthoff, Elly Ameling, Thomas Hampson, Matthias Goerne, Teresa Berganza and Brigitte Fassbaender. Born in Jerusalem, Israel and raised in South Africa, Ammiel Bushakevitz developed a special affinity for the music of Franz Schubert from an early age. He is a laureate of the International Franz Schubert Competition Dortmund and is a recipient of the International Schubert Institute Award in Vienna.

A rising baritone star in the operatic scene of the 1990s, Boje Skovhus studied at the Aarhus Music College and the Royal Academy for Opera of Copenhagen and then went to New York for further training. After acquiring some professional experience on various stages, he had a breakout appearance at the Vienna Volksoper when he substituted at the last minute as Mozart's Don Giovanni. Since then he has enjoyed a rapidly developing career on the world's greatest opera stages.
