Selma: el Poder de un Sueño

Man-out-of-time Count Cagliostro, dressed to the 19th-century gills, tools into town in a horse-drawn wagon attended by a grim reaper. This occult villain stands in stark contrast to the futuristic laboratory of his new partner-in-crime Dr. Raymond. Together they seek a uranium-like ore, and to harvest the deadly fuel Cagliostro uses a magic spell from an ancient Egyptian scroll to revive the corpses of those who died in the silver mines.

In 1952, a superhero motion picture serial was made entitled "The Man in the Silver Mask", which was supposed to star Santo, but he declined to appear in it, because he thought it would fail commercially. The film was made instead with well-known luchador El Medico Asesino in the lead role, wearing a white mask similar to Santo's silver one. A villain named "The Silver-Masked Man" was introduced into the plot at the last minute, thus the title of the film strangely became a reference to the villain, not the hero.

A masked Zorro-like character travels the West, battling monsters and protecting the innocent in this 1965 Horror/ Western Cult Classic. The Masked Rider fights an ugly witch, a bat-headed Vampire, a Headless Zombie, living skeletons and one of the hairiest Werewolves ever to appear in a horror movie, all in a style reminiscent of the old Universal Horror Films of the 1940’s.

El rey de San Gregorio is a story about a pure and simple love. The film talks about the life of Pedro Vargas, a 30 years-old man living in the slum of San Gregorio and presents a physical handicap and a certain grade of mental disability. Nevertheless, none of these factors will stop him from being the protagonist of this beautiful love story with his «princess» Cati, a girl who has a severe mental disability. As any other romantic drama, there are antagonists who do not approve this love.
